Sample Suitability for Electron Microscopy (Applicable for instruments without cryo facility or dual lens system, available at SAIF cochin) 1. Samples must be stable under an accelerating voltage of 200 keV. Any disintegration during analysis may compromise the vacuum system and prevent image capture. 2. Samples must be non-magnetic. Magnetic properties will be verified in the laboratory. 3. Samples must be completely dry and free of moisture. Please note: The analysis fee is non-refundable if the sample fails to meet any of the above conditions. Para magnetic samples may be accepted. |
